Each amount is weight × the published dose per kg, with its original unit retained. Volume is calculated only from an explicitly entered compatible concentration. The reference selection is partial; consult the full publication and arrest algorithm for drug selection, timing and other interventions.

RECOVER reference selection

  • Epinephrine: 0.01 mg/kg, IV or IO. Nonshockable arrest; for persistent shockable rhythms after the first shock, if vasopressin is unavailable.
  • Vasopressin: 0.8 U/kg, IV or IO. Nonshockable arrest or persistent shockable rhythms after the first shock.
  • Lidocaine: 2 mg/kg, IV or IO. Dogs with refractory shockable rhythms; administer over 2 to 4 minutes.
