● SECURITY

How does Vetinuity handle security?

Vetinuity never sees or stores a card number. Card details are typed on Stripe's own checkout page, and the billing portal is hosted by Stripe too.

Updated

Who can reach production systems

Administrator access to production servers goes through key-based connections on our hosting provider, which records that access.

The production database accepts connections only from an allow list of specific addresses, not from the open internet.

Audit log

The application records account activity in an audit log.

An automated weekly check of the audit log runs on a schedule and writes a dated record each week.

Written security policies

On October 3, 2026, Vetinuity adopted a written set of ten security policies, plus a retention policy for the audit log:

  • Information security
  • Acceptable use
  • Access control
  • Change management
  • Incident response
  • Risk assessment
  • Code of conduct
  • Vendor management
  • Data classification and handling
  • Business continuity and availability

How changes reach the application

Application changes are written up, reviewed, and tested before they reach production.
